I picked the title "Crying Inside", there was an (almost-) tie between this and "The Anxiety of Romance" and I somewhat prefered this more simple one

I promised to provide some information on my technique on the finished drawing so this time I will name my tools and what I used them for

background: pure graphite powder applied with brushes, a small one to rub it in a little more for the dark parts and a big one to make more subtle greys.

foreground: ...I mean the blurry plant-part on the right, same as background only some parts were "drawn" with a dirty blending stump, that's stuffed with graphite Some individual leaves were done with a mechanical pencil, so is the tiny twig.

hair: pure graphite stick for the darks, 6B pencil and mechanical pencils for the details. Everything blended with the blending stump. Highlights and flyaway hairs done with a pencil-shaped eraser and a kneaded eraser

face: Drawn as usual with my 2B 0,5mm-mechanical pencil mainly, 6B for darkest parts.
